Abstract

This report describes how two multisensor seeker UCAV concepts for ground target combat will be evaluated by simulation in synthetic environments. Both radar and IR signatures will be used. The scenarios used are taken from The Swedish Armed Forces "Framtida markmålsbekämpning" (Future ground target combat) and some typical situations are identified from that document. These will be used in the simulations, because it takes too long time to calculate a whole scenario. We will use the program "Specray EM" for the radar simulation and SceneServer and to some extent Cameo-Sim and RadTherm for the IR-simulations. High resolution cad-models will be used as target models, both for radar and IR. ECM will be evaluated in cooperation with another project from "Swedish Armed Forces". In the report we describe how the simulation-programs can be used, what will be evaluated by simulation and what type of results we will achieve.
