Abstract
The report describes a concept for jamming suppression that uses electronic support measures, platform/sensor co-operation and data fusion for suppression of jamming against radars. The goal is to be able to determine, in sufficient time, which of a number of objects that are the real objects and which objects that are introduced by jamming, .e. to classify the objects. Fighter aircraft is in focus, but the main parts of the concept can be used equally well in other applications. The concept is introduced in two scenarios for network-based jamming suppression in an international mission for the Swedish Armed Forces. The purpose of the scenarios is to describe how the concept can be used from a tactical perspective. The main components, i.e. jammer, ESM, radar and data fusion module, are described. Complementary methods for positioning, TDOA and FDOA, are analyzed to determine their possible contribution to the concept. The report also describes a number of important questions that remain to be answered to determine if the concept can be realized or not
