Abstract
The aim of the study is to analyse the Russian energy policy with a focus on the aspect of control. The objective is to show what the current situation and trends look like since 2005. The report draws several conclusions that together bear witness of that development has evolved along the lines previously pointed out by FOI , namely that obtaining control over the energy issues in Russia has become increasingly important to the state, to the Kremlin and to the President.
