Modeling and simulation is today important tool in research and development of communication systems. In this report we analyze strategies for Aquarius, an in house simulation tool for communication system. Three different strategies are analyzed in the report, making a product of the simulation tool, maintain the simulation tool, and phasing out the simulation tool. Different pros and cons as economical aspects, external collaboration, development of models, maintenance of the framework, and simulation capacity are analyzed for the different strategies.
