Final report - IT System Defense

This is the final report presenting three years of activity in the R&D project Defence of IT systems. The report gives an overview of the activities focusing on how the results will benefit the Swedish Armed Forces (SAF). There has been two main paths of research; identification of data type of data fragments, and IT security exercises. The research concerning identification of data type will benefit the SAF by extending the capability of intrusion detection systems. The IT security exercise development activity will benefit the SAF by working as a transfer media for the experiences that FOI has gained in the field, and through the SAF's use of the exercise platform with connected logging tools that has been developed.
