Abstract

The report describe basic principals of a tunable Salisbury-screen based on a conducting polymer PEDOT:PSS (polyethylenedioxythiophene:polystyrenesulfonate) as a thin impedence sheet. Two other types of thin impedence layers, a circuit analogue layer and a PIN-diod phaseshift layer (PSS, Phase-Switched Screen) are also described. Some interesting experimental results on PEDOT:s permittivity in the microwave region are also presented. The study indicates great potential to design tunable radar absorbers.
