Abstract

This report can be regarded as a first survey or as a requirement document for the computerized support systems needed to implement the SEMARK concept. We describe the support systems in terms of recognized situation picture, planning, operation execution, assessment, simulation and other requirements. Simple planning tools at user level can be implemented in the near future and be of great value. The development path for the tools will be lengthy, since they rely on simplifications of complex real world dependencies, which need to be revised and verified continously. These support tools use a number of different methodologies. We describe those that are important for sensor usages. We describe different performance figures, sensor cueing, sensor management, sensor control, modelling, simulation and a decision support method.
